Phillips Brothers’ ‘I Got Hurt (Pt 1)’ is one of the most sought classics from the deep funk era. It’s an incredibly hard item to track down on its original release, which now sells for upwards of £400. When we copied the tapes a few years back, we found that a ‘Pt 2’ had been produced but never released. We’ve put it together with ‘Pt 1’ for its debut on 7-inch vinyl.
